IMEB n. f. has been a co-initiator and become a regular partner (and member of the steering "core group") of the international research project of the 6th Framework Program of the European Commission - "EUREC - European Network of Research Ethics Committees". Course for Ethics Committees
IMEB n. f. has initiated its own project of the "continuing course" for members and 'users' of ethics committees in the Slovak Republic. It has been launched in 2007. Chapters of the course are published (in Slovak language only) in a regular section of the Institute's journal "Medical Ethics & Bioethics". They are also put on the Institute's web page, together with the supplementary materials and selected texts for further studies, useful links etc. More information - here.

Conferences at UPC Bratislava
Director of IMEB n. f. leads again since the Summer semester of 2008/2009 a regular continuous free public course in bioethics - "Bioethics for the 21st Century". It is devoted to Bratislava universities and colleges students (all disciplines, all levels of study), as well as all interested in bioethics. The course is given in the Slovak language in the form of open conferences. Each session consists of an introductory lecture, which is followed by an "interactive case presentation" (done by 'role playing' technique involving people from the audience) and finished by a free moderated discussion.
