IMEB n. f., together with the Slovak Society of Clinical Pharmacology, Institute of Pharmacology, Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology of the Faculty of Medicine of the Slovak Medical University in Bratislava and with other participating organizations, organised 11th National Meeting of Ethics Committees in Slovakia. It took place within a workshop with international participation entitled - Actualities of Good Clinical Practice: Clinical Trials of Medicinal Products and Drugs in Slovakia in SR 2011 on April 6, 2011 at the Congress Centre of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic in Bratislava. Continuing bioethics course - "Bioethics for the 21st Century" takes place also during the Summer Semester 2010/2011. This time at a new venue - The House of Evangelization Quo vadis, Hurbanovo Square 1 (Bratislava). The course is held in Slovak language only. Dates: 22. 2., 29. 3., 26. 4., 31. 5., 28. 6. 2011. The renewed meetings of the Club of Christian Physicians and Health Care Workers in Bratislava take place since this February. The meetings are held in Slovak langauge only. IMEB served as a local organiser of the Internation Bioethics Conference of the Council of Europe (Regional DEBRA Program Conference) - "Oviedo Convention in Central and Eastern European Countries", Bratislava, September 24 - 25, 2009. More information here.
Proceedings of the Conference were published as a special Supplementum 1/2009 of the IMEB n. f. journal "Medical Ethics & Bioethics", those can be downloaded here.

On June 25, 2009, the issue 1-2/2009 of IMEB journal Medicínska etika & Bioetika – Medical Ethics & Bioethics was published.
On June 20, 2009, newly designed web pages of IMEB n. f. were launched at newly established internet domains: the Slovak version at the domain www.bioetika.sk and the English version at the domain www.bioethics.sk.
Original domain of IMEB (www.imeb.sk) was closed.
